When was the last time you picked up the phone and called?

Not text, not WhatsApp, not Facebook, not Insta.... but an actual human voice?

If it's been long do it now...for your sake and for the people you care about.

"Unprecedented"... on so many levels... that's our new normal.

And with this, a host of new challenges are unraveling as we scram to find solutions. The bigger issues we are better equipped to deal with. But the little ones... where there is no "real" problem - but there is a problem.

If earlier husband and wife, or a parent and child had evolved ways to deal with a difficult conversation those avenues are no loner present...so now even a commonplace conversation suddenly becomes a problem. This affects mood, affects the environment and then there is a cataclysmic effect on the household. This is getting more and more pronounced - so the problem really is that there is no problem - that can actually be dealt with ...and before you know it, sensitive people living in such environments are falling...

Which is why it is critical - to reach out, pick up the phone and actually make a human connection...that is the only avenue that we all have available today that can help diffuse such situations.

We are tactile as humans - and that tactile connection is now missing - when we meet friends we hug, we shake hands, we touch shoulders...we hit and play - all of that tactile feedback is now missing....

Atleast a voice...a human connection...we need to keep going...if we're to survive this together.
